Cedar cottage is an amazing little cottage in a very accessible village straight off of the main road! It was the perfect size for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 small children) and the gate to the park at the back was terrific for the kids to run off some energy!

Spent 4 days at this property just for a change of scene during this pandemic. Explored the area during our stay had a lovely walk through Denlethen woods it was a really lovely walk. The cottage it's self was amazing the pictures looked good but to see it in real life it was even better than the pictures we would love to come back and stay sometime.

We live in the Laurencekirk area but needed extra accommodation for guests this weekend. Cedar Cottage proved to be a gem of a find, high quality finishes throughout with an exceptional attention to detail. Everything has been thought of from the practical & thoughtful welcome pack; the well equipped kitchen; gorgeously comfy sofas with lovely home furnishings through to good quality toiletries

Laurencekirk itself is an excellent base for exploring Aberdeenshire.

Dunnottar Castle is a must completed by walk on coast path to Stonehaven which is a lovely town. If you enjoy walking, St Cyrus is great as is the blue door walk at Edzell. Crathes castle and gardens are also well worth a visit.

Clean, roomy with all you need for a home away from home. Bonus off street parking for 2 cars. Great back views of the Garvock. From Indian to fish and chip shop plenty of eateries, Bizzies is lovely cafe to check out. Lot of amenities in town, with a train station to Aberdeen for leisurely shopping day out. Cairn 'o' mount just a few miles away with breath taking views take you to Balmoral and beyond. So glad I found this rental. Would book again.

This is a beautiful cottage, a right home from home with everything you need. The direct access to the park via the back gate was great for the children. It is centrally located to visit Aberdeen, Dundee and surrounding areas. Would highly recommend.

A tranquil Scottish river near Laurencekirk, flowing through lush greenery, with sunlight filtering through the trees and reflecting off the rippling water. We stayed in this lovely cottage for nearly two weeks in July this year. It was like a home for us and we didn't want to leave at all. So wonderful furnished and created with much love and taste. This is such a beautiful place, we were contemplating staying & claiming squatters rights! We’ve been so relaxed here and loved every minute. Perfect place as a base for visiting the surrounding areas. It’s been lovely to come back to the perfect cottage every evening. We cannot thank you enough.

We could have not picked a more beautiful place to stay to celebrate the Scottish Hogmanay. We have stayed in many self-catering cottages in the UK and have to say that Cedar Cottage is by far one of the most comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful.

Cedar holiday cottage far exceeded our expectations. It is much bigger than it looks on the website and everything is ultra clean and modern. There was all the kitchen equipment you would have at home which made self catering very easy. Laurencekirk itself is an excellent base for exploring Aberdeenshire.

Loch Fasque near Laurencekirk, is a serene and picturesque spot where nature feels untouched by time. The still water reflects the soft grey clouds above. Amongst the gentle ripples, swans glide effortlessly, their white feathers standing out against the dark water.
